1200 miles in a Countach

I think if I’d been one of those people stopped at the side of the road when he passed me, I would’ve fainted, or thought I was imagining it. Lucky bastard.

Evo’s Harry Metcalfe drives his Lamborghini Countach QV the 1200 miles back from the Lamborghini factory in Italy, all the way to his house in the UK. The route included a blast along the Route Napoleon, a dash across central France and a trip on the Eurotunnel. Finishing off the next morning at his home in the Cotswolds.

Excellent photo, although the “lake” looks more like a paddling pool, right? Click through, and start scrolling. Pause for a moment on pic 20.

GPS Jamming

Fascinating PDF hosted on the Irish Lights website about current threats to GPS — the amount of chaos that can be created using relatively cheap jammers is incredible. I’m sure the twits out there with jammers think they’re the bees-knees, but they’re in the same or worse category as the pinheads that think it’s funny to point a laser pointers at a plane.
