NASA: A fortuitous orbit of the International Space Station allowed the astronauts this striking view of Sarychev volcano Russia’s Kuril Islands, northeast of Japan in an early stage of eruption on June 12, 2009. Sarychev Peak is one of the most active volcanoes in the Kuril Island chain and is located on the northwestern end of Matua Island.
Anyone know of a good photo scanning service, here or in the UK? Not enough patience to scan them myself, and it’s hard to know whether the ones in search results are any good.
Or failing that just a dual-DVI cable I can borrow for a day or two?
I have a horse of a monitor here that’s all fuzzy and I want to test it before I send it back. Tried replacing the video card but it’s not that, and I don’t want to buy any other components, or be raped at PC World for something that should cost 10 or 20 notes.
It’s now 1234567890 in Unix time, or rather it will be in 30 seconds. How cool is that!
It was longlisted in two categories, but shortlisted in the one I least expected, Best Discussion Forum. Not sure we have a hope against the likes of Boards and PropertyPin, but sure being shortlisted is great anyway!
