Flaming Impala Burnout
Holy crap, we’ve gone Back To The Future!
I think if I’d been one of those people stopped at the side of the road when he passed me, I would’ve fainted, or thought I was imagining it. Lucky bastard.
Evo’s Harry Metcalfe drives his Lamborghini Countach QV the 1200 miles back from the Lamborghini factory in Italy, all the way to his house in the UK. The route included a blast along the Route Napoleon, a dash across central France and a trip on the Eurotunnel. Finishing off the next morning at his home in the Cotswolds.
Lorenzo Quinn’s “Vroom Vroom”, currently installed on Park Lane in London (where all the big-nob dealers hang out). That’s a real Fiat 500.
Halcyon Gallery: The four-metre high sculpture consists of a vintage Fiat 500, the first car that the sculptor ever bought, grasped by an oversized aluminium child’s hand modelled from Quinn’s son.
From the Boston Globe Big Picture, make sure you click through to the rest. Sadly the Big Picture editor has left for The Atlantic, hopefully the Globe will get some equally talented to pick up where he left off, and we’ll have two feeds of fab photos!
You may have seen this before, Lexus pulled it some time ago and just re-released it.

It was a Bentley 8 Litre, now it’s a Bentley Packard 42 Litre. 1500hp at 2400rpm, 160mph. I use the word a lot, but I think it’s justified: Terrifying.
Despite being a general fan of Audi, I haven’t been mad about the eTron up until this point, especially the awful orange coupé presented last year — I thought it best not to torture your eyes with it. The red spider rolled out at CES is nice though.
I know Kia Boxy is just modern-day Multipla Fugly (ugh!), but I actually like them. Add in a Geordi La Forge rear light and you’re on a winner with dahamsta!
