The mother will be transcribing Sean Beecher’s “Story of Cork” for me shortly, to accompany his “Dictionary of Cork Slang” on the web, so I’ve been looking for somewhere to bring them together. I was hoping to get corcaigh.ie, but the Council have it (fair dues); and unfortunately Ghanian addresses (corcai.gh) require a local presence; but much to my surprise corcaigh.org was available, so I snapped it up.

I’ve always wanted to do a general site about Cork city, and possibly the county too, so if anyone has any suggestions for other stuff that could appear on the site, please let me know.
